Will the 2006 Vote Be Counted?

My returning guest is Ion Sancho, the Supervisor of Elections of Leon County (Tallahassee) Florida, who is single-handedly fighting Diebold and the Governor and Legislature of Florida to give citizens a meaningful right to vote.
The California Secretary of State Bruce McPherson has approved Diebold voting machines which an independent panel he commissioned certified are easily hackable. Read page 2 of the report. The Secretary of State has asked Diebold to fix the more than a dozen hackable errors, but Diebold has not yet promised to do so.
Why is our right to vote held hostage by three monopolistic corporations?

The worse assault on this republic is the voting machine in control of the corporations with no accountability. We the people need to take back the commons that we have paid for with every tax dollar we have paid including the voting process.
The Commons is what makes this a democracy and it is paid for by every citizen, ie our roads, our schools, our water, our librarys, all the things we take for granted but that corporations want to control for profit. When we cede control of or privitazation of the commons we are doomed to corporate rule completely.
Take a hard look at how the current adminstration and the far right has pushed privitization and tell me why if they can’t make a buck at it they want it? Common sense tells you that some things are better run by the government with civil servants than by a corporate plutacracy or do we want to return to the “Robber Barib Era:
We need to stop giving America away it is destroying any middle class we hope to have just like they tried to in the past! I realize that today’s society knows little of history and much of our history is being re-written by the spinsters so once again LOOK OUT AMERICA you will lose it all!

Will the 2008 votes be counted?
The diebold machines should've been gone yesterday March 20, 2006 1:20 pm
The system is broken–the machines are bogus–and damn if we won’t have another election with these bogus machines–and crabapples crabappling about another bogus election–how do we fix the problem and NOW? What about injunctions against these machines across the board–nationally
Civil disobedience is more patriotic than voter fraud and a more viable alternative than our elections staying in the crapper
