    Jacob,
I’m not sure where you’re getting your information. And after all, you’re Finnish. So I’m very interested in what you have to say. What lists are you referring to? Perhaps you know people who acted at the time. There was probably antisemitism, as there was strong antisemitism in the USA at the time and around the world.
But the history I’ve read shows that despite repeated requests by Himmler, Finland turned over only 8 Jews out of a community of 2,000 and never denied Jews full and equal rights during the Holocaust. (Are you referring to those 8?) Jews even fought in the Finnish army against the Russians in 1939-40 (although that would technically make them “allied with Nazi Germany” in that they were both fighting Soviet Russia).
Jacob, I think your country was better than you think it was!

Good that your back Jacob. Feared you had moved on – and congratulations on 38 years.

The reply about Finland and its stance during World War II is almost right. For a time Finland DID co-operate with the Nazi’s and did provide lists of Jews in the country. However, this is part of the shameful past of Finland and most Finns concentrate their discussions on their battles with the Russians and then follow it with their driving the Germans (and collaborators) out of Finland.
My late father-in-law who fought on the frontline all through the extended war had no kind word to say about the Germans who followed a scorched earth policy when they were being driven out. However, it was a politics of convenience at that time of a small nation fighting a giant.
Sorry for the late comeback on this, but was busy celebrating my 38th wedding anniversary!!
