The Supreme Court has just issued a number of decisions, as it typically does at the end of June when its term ends. Do you know what these decisions mean?
They include:
Bush-declared “enemy combatants” still have a right to due process.
You can’t sue HMOs.
Congress can’t criminalize internet porn.
The Pledge of Allegiance case was dodged on a technicality.
Foreigners have limited right to sue here for acts done abroad.
Republicans can gerrymander in Texas, but Democrats cannot gerrymander in Georgia.

Thomas for once split with Scalia and Rinquist and actually voted with the majority against the internet ban. I almost swallowed my dentures when I found that out.
