Scooter Libby GUILTY of Obstruction of Justice and Perjury!

Send him to prison and go after co-conspirator Vice President Dick Cheney next!
If Bush pardons Scooter Libby, he must be impeached.
And if Bush pardons Scooter Libby at the end of his term, then he must also be investigated for his role in the conspiracy.
TraitorGate is far more serious than Watergate. And the Bush Administration is more corrupt and more lawless than Nixon’s.

Radine, he’s the Republican Senator prior to Barack Obama whose seat Obama now holds. He had to retire because he advocated fighting corruption in the Republican Party and Republicans couldn’t support him after that. (See Wikipedia article.)

Great question, Skip. I’m certain Wilson’s legal team will call Cheney. And Cheney, if he testifies, will have to either: 1) Admit he sent Libby to disclose the identity of a covert agent (a felony); or 2) Commit perjury.
Cheney does have an out. He can plead the Fifth, the privilege against self-incrimination. However, pleading the Fifth CAN be used against you in a civil suit and it will lead to Wilson’s victory. That would be the only honest way to handle it.
More likely, Cheney will choose none of the above and refuse to testify based on Executive Privilege or some such nonsense (the same excuse Nixon used when he refused to turn over his tapes and lost 9-0). I hope then the Court will order Cheney to testify and order him JAILED FOR CONTEMPT if he refuses to do so. And wouldn’t that be interesting? Unfortunately he won’t actually go to jail because the Cheney-hand-picked Supreme Court (or lower courts) will probably let him off the hook.
As I said, great question, Skip.
