Recess
August 15, 2005
While Congress is in recess, Mark Levine will be on weekday vacation. Talk Star will play classic shows in the 7 pm Eastern weekday timeslot. But Mark will continue to do live shows every Sunday.
Check out the Broadcast Archive for classic INSIDE SCOOP. You can’t have heard all 350+.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

Robert,
I try to read every comment on the blog, but given my busy working vacation, I was slow to get to this one. Gordon’s right. The 2000 Selection was my impetus to be a radio host. I’ve described it on air many times (but any time you call in, I’m happy to do it again!). The shorter explanation is on the link “Who We Are” to this website.

Actually Vicky–William Powell would have been my choice
Since Robt. is so candid with his reviews–let me suggest he get editorial help (it will add credence to your arguments)–I also sense a condescending attitude (but hang around here long enough, and that will work itself free)
The bogus election of 2000 was the impetus for RADIOINSIDESCOOP (Mark will probably say it was the Scalia Decision in that process that was the last straw)
The World Beyond Time
Let go of the world of time, where all things end,
and find a world where nothing ends,
where love is found,
hate cannot exist,
and vengeance has no meaning,
where words fall into silence
and unspoken meaning is shared and fully understood.
This timeless world is as close
or as far away as you make it,
depending on how much you cling
to the little things that keep you prisoner,
the idols you esteem and bind your mind.
Such is the choice;
what you choose, you will really get.
The lights of heaven shine upon your eyelids
as you sleep in darkness,
it is light your mind can see,
but your eyes cannot.
You open your eyes
to see a world you do not want.

Thank you Mark. I appreciate you and your sense of fairness!
No grudges Robt. (You’re the one who asked me to compare you to Cary Grant.)
