In a very special Halloween show, Mark Levine does his lawyerly best to play “devil’s advocate” and defend the Republican Party while Republican strategist Mike Lane takes up the cause of the Democrats.
This should be ugly…and hilarious….as we don masks to celebrate America’s favorite pagan holiday, All Hallow’s Eve.

This was a scarey show. Gave me the sensation of hairy gay liberal smartly dressed arachnids
crawling all over everyone at a church service during a storm in the middle of a fire and brimstone sermon to get the vote out for Bush………………….

Since Mark & yourself are trading ideology today. I would like you to argue a scenario to (now Mark the conservative).
here it is:
Several people have been missing in the United States. Credible reports lead to the President detaining them as suspected terrorist ties or some sort of abetting yet is unclear). Reports say they are being tortured. The President and his people are spitefully unhelpful in your inquiries. They start smearing your patriotism.
Two of these people detained & classified as enemy combatants are both US citizens, your sure of. One is a NYC cab driver and the other is a U.S Congressman of your party affiliate.
Habeas Corpus is suspended. The President now has the full authority to act, with no oversight nor legal means (via courts)to even inquire for them.
As you try to ask officially and otherwise. You start getting threats of your dealings with these detainees and any ties to terrorists. As threats to shut you up.
It was leaked that they need a chance to answer their charges against them but there is no legal or moral means for that to occur.
Mike, your job in trading places is to argue for the detainees to be given the right or the hearing that they may face their accusations.
These detainees have been held for some time. Their families call and plead with you to do something as, you are their representative.
We all may be hearing this soon, Would enjoy the preview……………………..

How are you going to defend George Allen’s actions last week on Jim Webb’s Novel-gate story?? The brand new polls that just came out tonight show Webb just jumped ahead across the board beyond the margin of error..
