Last Days of Marriage Discrimination, Duck Travesty, and Help for the Unemployed [RC]
December 29, 2013
The decision of the District Court in Utah, of all places, to strike down marriage discrimination laws on the basis of the Fourteenth Amendment heralds the beginning of the end of marriage discrimination nationwide.
And it’s ridiculous to think A&E’s suspension of their racist and homophobic “reality star” has anything to do with the First Amendment. But Conservatives sure like to push those cultural buttons…

I’m sorry, Michael. I believe one of our phone lines was down as I announced on the show (and the other two lines had Garland and Terry). Feel free to listen to the show above, though. And you can add your comment about it below.

Hi Mark. I tried calling into the Raucous Caucus on Sunday, December 29; I heard your show. But all I got was ringing sounds–no one picked up. I was desperate to chime in on Duck Dynasty, as you Facebook messaged me about. I don’t know what happened but I sense A RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY!! 😉 So what happened? And any chance you can have me on as a guest to elaborate on this issue (particularly the abuse and falsehoods of the first amendment, let alone the double standards by the right wingers)?
