It is of my opinion that it is time for a “War on Teror Tax”.
After the Bush Adm and republican congrolled congress and their Emergency War Supplimental bills to fund the war on terror. They borrowed and borrowed like they were those bad homeowners that bought house with mortgages they could not afford they always denegrate about.
When we borrow from China to fund our terror war it is like automatic. We pay Iraqi’s not to shoot at us, we pay to train their police and military as we here in America are facing police layoffs and hiring freezes. With each loan from China, not only is the principal but interests as well are due in repayment.
If we could begin a War Tax then we could start paying as we go with no interests to repay foriegn Govts.
It would also be a sacrifice of us Americans supporting our troops and would raise much more care and awareness than putting a ribbon magnet on your fender of your auto.
Are our politicians bold enough? Are Americans patriotic enough? Are Republicans behind the War effort enough?
You tell me?
