    And of course I can provide articles written by non left economist to refute your articles. but thosyou would call false. Because they do not fit your line of thinking.My feeling are that Newsweek has for some time now been a typical left leaning bunch along the same lines as MSNBC, Your big picture is just another Blog type web site who think they are right and no one else can question it. you know kind of like Harry Reid Nancy Pelosi and President Obama. Only one truth, oh like you. You get on TV and have that arrogant smirk. Like no one except you can be right. So don’t preach that it was all Wall Streets fault or the Republicans or G Bush. After watching Sen Levin repeat over and over that it was a shitty deal it makes me wonder why him and joe foul mouth Biden are not pounded as was Cheney and Bush? But you will defend them as hard as you demonize anyone in big business. I’m not saying Goldman Sachs did not do bad things But they are not the only ones, and are being treated terribly by the committee. Much the same as Toyota. Did they treat Ford the same way back when they had the Pinto blowing up and killing people. NO I don’t even remember any Congressional hearings. I believe the difference was UNIONS. The Democrats bed fellows

    Here’s a particularly good, detailed refutation of the wild idea that Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 somehow caused the Wall-Street Recession;
