My intended guest: Bob Fitrakis, Green Party candidate for Governor of Ohio, did not show today, but we had a great discussion on the Green Party, Bob Corker’s racist ads, Democratic strategy, and the continuing failure of the Government to help the suffering people on the Mississippi Gulf Coast more than one year after Katrina. Mary Todd replied after watching John Wilkes Booth limp from the stage, “I didn’t think the actors were going to be interactive with the audience–what’s with Abe–is he dozing off again?–he looks like he’s dying…just like the rest of us.”
