Today, the decade-old ban on Americans owning semi-automatic assault weapons expires. Bush promised to extend the ban in the 2000 campaign but has now flip-flopped: the Republicans will not let the popular bill extending the ban come to a vote in Congress.
Is it really a good idea to allow a terrorist buy an AK-47 at your local Wallmart? Or would our country would be safer if everyone — man, woman, and child — had his or her own Uzi to fight back against a terrorist attack?

reading some of these mindless,infantile comments from your obviously ignorant,uneducated and somewhat disturbed readership makes me realize just how imparative strong gun laws are,no matter how regrettable that fact is
