If You Don’t Know the Facts, Shout Down the Truth.

Do you think Ms. Dimond, after hearing this twice from me, will ever actually read the law?
Or Google “Arizona modifies immigration law racial profiling” to see that, in fact, I was right and she was wrong all along?
Do you think she’ll ever learn the truth that Arizona did modify its immigration law because it orginally allowed racial profiling of law-abiding citizens (see sources in link)? Don’t bet on it.
Producers at Fox 29 Philadelphia agreed her conduct was inappropriate.
We will never debate again.

I’m not sure if Sharpton is illegal but I’m positive he is an alien. Also you really can’t hold the way Mark acts against him, after all he’s just a typical libtard and can’t help it.

Mark you are doing the typical Leftist Bs again, you and those that feel the Police of AZ are going to lower themselves to your standard. By acting illegaly and just stopping or asking people for ID (which the Federal law says any legal immigrant must carry). Do you think they have time to just change the way they do their daily job? Or is this just going to be a tool that they can use when they suspect something is not right. No it can’t be that because you and Al Sharpton say so. You still haven’t answered my question why the 2 biggest Racists in the US should be believed on anything Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. You and those who just want to give all these criminals a pass and make them citizens care less about the law then you do about the people who are victims. who is the largest group protesting this law The ILLEGALS. Well DUH they want to be able to do as they want regardless of the LAW. And you back them up. Show me any different view. You just use the same tired arguments.

Geoff, did you read the law? Version 1, allowing a demand for papers upon “lawful contact” would let police arrest any Latino American citizen who dared to take a walk around the block without carrying papers. It also explicitly allowed racial profiling as long as that was not the “sole” reason for the reasonable suspicion someone was an illegal.
Version 2 does require a “lawful stop,” but Diane Dimond refused to recognize there was even a change in the law, and she tried to shout me down when I stated the simple facts. There was no time to give an opinion because even though I let her speak, she refused to let me speak.
Please read the law, specifically the original version at 11-1051 B. You’ll see that racial profiling of innocent American citizens doing nothing wrong was originally allowed.
Only because of the concerted pressure of those of us who care about racial profiling and police abuse and threatened boycotts did Arizona partially back down. That’s the story that Ms. Dimond was determined that no one hear–so determined, in fact, that she violated the most basic notions of free speech: that both sides of an issue get a chance to have their say.
That she shouted down to prevent a fact from being heard — rather than an opinion — is especially egregious. Because she has the right to her own opinion but not the right to say something completely false and that shout down any attempt at telling people the truth.
Her conduct is the reason we’ll never debate again.

Wow where do you people come from ? Did any of you actually read the law. The problem here is that you all make this political.. The law is the law. It seems that the liberal democrats only care about getting the Latino vote. When you have no real argument, you go on the attack, that is the Art of War. Shame on all of you people. Innocent Americans are being killed. the Federal Government is not doing their job. Again I say Mark, it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt…

Mark why do you put up with being treated like that. The “right” tries to talk over and down to everyone that has a point they can’t fight. So isn’t it time to show the same respect. If they talk over you talk over them. Heck I would take flash cards with me. That way if they try the old “shut the mike” trick they would look even worse.
