I seen some news that there may be a Canadian legal push if Bush does go to Canada to his speaking gig.
It seems Canada has some laws that call for aprehension of war criminals. They tried this before and Bush had some privilege as active U.S. President. The laws may not defend Bush this time.
Their law is supposed to turn the Criminal over to a country that could handle that sort of trial. Can you sa, “the Hague”?
I don’t have much confidence in Canadian follow through when America cannot hold a war criminal that occured by America’s own president. It is shameful that America cannot face tace this and investigate it and let the facts be found where they may.
