Tracie–we certainly would be figments of each other’s imaginatiom–I might call it heaven and Bush might call it hell–I do have a few things I would like to discuss with him
But you’re right–keeping track of me, is still a full-time job
Motherless Children
Orphans of the storm,
seek love
where it dwells,
pulsing your heart with high, fast energy.
Be love
wherever you are,
under all circumstance.
Hear love
whisper its gentle message
in a warm, summer breeze.
See love
in all its disguises,
even masked in horror.
Find love
in each other,
holding hands at death’s door,
in a smile good-bye.
And a smile hello
holding an involuntary flash of knowing you are near,
sharing a tear,
a hope, a heartbreak,
a laugh, and a fear,
hearing your heartbeat as you sleep,
gazing at your face in sweet repose.
Kneeling together at the altar,
confessing our pains, confiding our secret joys,
dancing with memories and dreams,
and then, embracing
in a kiss that never ends.

Oh Dr. Freud President Bush claims to be a Christian – much like you do – what are you going to do if you find yourself being his neighbor someday in Heaven? Wouldn’t that be a lesson in humility and humor????
You’re pretty good at this “Judgement” thing – you better be keeping track of “Dr. Freud” – he’s the only one you will have to give an account for.
Vicky–Colson’s redemption is fine–but don’t connect that to having political credibility–somebody spouting the Bush party-line is a big red flag for me–it is too ala Colson’s Nixon days–makes me wonder if Colson just doesn’t know how to say the right things for the right audience

Gordon,
Are you familiar with the various ministries that Chuck Colson was instrumental in beginning and is actively involved in? He has a very large and very successful prison ministry.
I don’t think we all have to agree with each other’s politics in order to give credit where credit is due. Yes or No?
