Post-Election Note
Post-Election Note to Radio Inside Scoop Fans:
Over the next two months, I expect to do much fewer shows than six days a week. For me, this is a needed break after the election, a necessary time to focus on the business end of building the show, and a chance to do all the things that went by the wayside in the weeks and months prior to Election Day.
Rest assured, my commitment to giving you “All the News the Government Does Not Want You to Know” stands firm, even more so since I am now one of the few voices speaking in opposition to a Federal Government controlled by one party at its executive, legislative, and judicial branches. I am well aware of the right-wing echo chamber on Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, and 90% of talk radio. I know how cowed the mainstream media is, fearful to even raise questions about this Administration for fear of criticism from demagogues like Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter.
Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. In working to bring you “inside scoops” — political facts and tidbits unreported by the mainstream press — I have neglected the business of promoting the show beyond its current audience. Now that the election is over, there is less urgency and more time to rebuild.
I am still working on stories — two that I hope to bring to you this week are: 1) an interview with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office regarding the challenge by some to the fairness of the elections held there; and 2) a detailed discussion of post-Arafat Israel and Palestinian Arabs.
But in the short-term, at least, I won’t be on every day, and I have worked out arrangements with the radio station for substitute programming when I am not on the air.
In the meantime, please check out the bountiful archives provided on this site and on White Rose Society and downloadradio.org. Keep contributing to the blog. And by all means, tell your friends, family, and local radio stations about THE INSIDE SCOOP.
In order to be informed about what days and times THE INSIDE SCOOP will be broadcast, either check this website frequently or (the easier way), add your name to THE INSIDE SCOOP mailing list. The list is solely for the purpose of sending out information about shows: I will NEVER transfer your name to ANYONE.

I liked this article, which draws parallels between our last election, our politicians/media, and a lobotomy. It also brings up one interesting fact. In the recent Venezuelean (sp?)election, electronic voting machines with paper trails were used and the results given a thumbs up by Jimmy Carter. The man could not do the same to what happened here last week. I guess that officially makes us a banana republic.

Dave, the hacking is half of the problem–the other part of the problem is 52% of the electorate(allegedly)that bites on the bullshit-bait that’s being fed to it.

Recount: A major accomplishment – but that may not be the problem. I know first hand that where e-machines are in play they can be invaded by high tech gov- hackers. If they could recount the exit polls by hand that would work. If they could have a second election on paper and counted by humans that would work. If they can check what happened on a machine without plugging them in that might work.
I know as a fact that if these voting machines can be accessed by Ashcroft’s troopers, the Republicans will receive as many votes as they need and more.

Thanx Skip for filling in–I had to deal with an ugly breakout of Right-Wing mania on another page.
Guess(who I wouldn’t necessarily label as Mr.) certainly has identity problems and its reasoning credibility wanes in backing the likes of the unreasoning, hate-mongering likes of Zell(on the road to Hell)Miller.
If Guess could say something for itself, it would–look at its mindless retorts after the initial fillibuster blog–nuthun’ there.
I don’t think I can help Guess–I need a mind to work with–I’m afraid when the autopsy is performed on Guess–a celestial I.O.U. will be found instead of a brain
