Listening to “How A Millennial Becomes A Conservative” and WOW. Love it. I remember when I said things like what these young people are saying – it really wasn’t until I started researching for myself and seeing the constant fear mongering associated with right wing media when I found my views aligned with the left. It wasn’t until I left the church because I was so hurt by the people when I realized the left is actually more in tune with the things Jesus taught and the right just sounds like a bunch of crazies – but I was raised to believe the complete opposite!! I am (now) a feminist but anytime I heard the term growing up it was “feminazi” which turned me off to learning about the feminism movement altogether. I have many more stories like that especially now being married to a black man in America for the past decade – that has completely changed my views on systemic racism etc. I’ve already told several of my friends about your pod casts and will continue to spread the word.
